S02 E21 Metal Detecting Crescent Beach St. Augustine and New Smyrna Beach
Today we travel up to the oldest city in America, St Augustine Florida, to do some exploring and try our luck metal detecting.
If you haven’t been to St Augustine, it’s a fun place to visit with lots of great historic sites to see.
Head out a bit to a little dog friendly beach, Crescent Beach, where you can drive on, or park in the free lot.
Crescent beach is a nice flat beach area near St. Augustine Florida.
Then back to New Smyrna Beach which has become a destination hot spot for beach goers for its fun, family friendly beach. Plenty of drive-on and parking along this part of the beach as well as amenities to satisfy beach goers.
We love this New Smyrna Beach as it’s always changing, always fun, great sights, great people and great finds!
It’s still difficult to get down to the beach from some of the walk ons but people are finding their way on to New Smyrna Beach.

Both detectors are mostly stock setting with all metal usually turned on. We tend to dig most everything and show what we feel are the most interesting digs.
